Gainesville...a Great Place to Live!

Gainesville is a small University town with a population of approximately 111,000, with 46,000 of this number being students. Gainesville has excellent cultural, educational and health aspects as well as being an environmentally protected community. Gainesville offers a minimal change of seasons with no extreme winters so it is very conducive to outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, fishing, swimming and horseback riding. The University of Florida attracts a wide range of special events and concerts not to mention the many Gator Sports events throughout the year. With museums, nature trails, bed and breakfasts, great restaurants and more, Gainesville really is a great place to live.
